Jazz & Blues Florida – January Issue Posted

The January issue of Jazz & Blues Florida has been posted at as your informative, timely and authoritative guide to the good music happening this month. Now in our 10th year in business and 7th of being COMPLETELY online and green, Jazz & Blues Florida is the monthly online magazine of preview features and promotion of upcoming live jazz and blues performances in Florida's clubs, concerts and festivals. Our features this month are: Bobby Rush & Super Chikan, Clayton Brothers (with John Clayton, Terell Stafford, Jeff Clayton, Gerald Clayton and Obed Calvaire), Cyrille Aimee, Don Friedman, Galactic, Little G Weevil, Lucky Peterson, Phil Woods Quintet (with Brian Lynch, Bill Mays, Steve Gilmore and Bill Goodwin), St. Paul & the Broken Bones and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.

The high season is musically upon us in Florida once again. The festivals are lined up, the societies have their series in place and good times are waiting for you any and every night of the week in all corners of the state. Budget some of your entertainment money and time for taking in some new venues and bands. And, please think about going to ten local shows with a ten dollar cover instead of one show for a Franklin and having all that money leave our community. Those guys will never even buy a beer for showing up!

It sure has been an interesting first ten years doing this for you all. So many good people, so many good times, so much good music. One can only wonder what the next ten will bring.

See you, somewhere, sometime, while the good music is playing…

BRAVELY, into 2015!
