Hungarian Jazz Experiments: Miklós Lukács And Surprise Guest

Miklós Lukács is a musical sensation: only 37, he has played with the BBC Philharmonics, the RAI Philharmonic Orchestra, was special guest at the New Year's concert of the Danish Royal Philharmonics and has played at Covent Garden, Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall and Concertgebouw, to name but a few venues. Apart from his impeccable classical credits, he has collaborated with jazz greats Archie Shepp, Chris Potter, Steve Coleman, Herbie Mann, Charles Lloyd and many others.
Miklós presents a night of jazz, playing the cimbalom in his inimitable, musically highly articulate and constructivist style that showcases both the potential of the instrument and his musicianship. He will be joined on stage by a surprise special guest from the US and several guest musicians from Hungary and NYC.
