Heston Performs at Acoustix Jazz in Atlanta,Georgia

JazzBeat Promotions presents an evening of live entertainment with International Recording Artist & R&B/Soul Singer Heston at Acoustix Jazz Restaurant and Lounge, located at 840 Marietta Street, Atlanta, Georgia,
on Thursday, October 25, 2012, from 8-11 pm.

Born on the Island of Dominica (British West Indies), HESTON, a singer/songwriter/producer, grew up surrounded by reggae, pop, classical, soul, R&B, and rock music. Between listening to the radio and his father's music collection, HESTON'S love affair with music would open the key to his soul and love for all types of music –From Barbara Streisand to Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Beres Hammond, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson (to name a few). HESTON, an Atlanta-based artist is no stranger to the music industry. He has received airplay internationally and performed at some of the top venues around the country and abroad, to include Europe and the Caribbean, the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club, Blues Alley, Apollo Theatre, Highline Ballroom, Emancipation Park (Jamaica), The Jazz Café (London), Bizz Art Club (Paris, France), The Drum and The Union Chapel Islington (London) and numerous other places. HESTON has received many accolades and awards to include his song "If" –Title track for BET's Real Life Divas, and his first full-length cd, "Storyteller", charted in the Top five R&B Soul Albums in Europe in 2008, Soul Tracks – Album of the Year, and nominated for BET J Virtual Award and numerous awards. Ebony, Blues & Soul, Soul Tracks and Rolling Out magazines and numerous other publications have featured HESTON.

On his latest CD, "Warm Human, Cold World" (World Soul Music/Dome Records), HESTON'S sophomore album, is unabashedly romantic, allowing listeners to enter his most intimate spaces and thoughts. "Warm Human, Cold World" charted #1 for three weeks on Solar Radio in Europe. The album also hit the charts as one of the Top 10 Albums on Soul Tracks, Album of the Month in 2011, and nominated for Soul Tracks Awards in 2011. The single, "Greatest Lover" reached "Top 20 Soul Tracks of the Year" on Soul Brothers Records in 2011, and "Greatest Lover" is featured on the Music Choice Cable Television. HESTON was also "Male Vocalist of the Year" in 2011 by Soul Tracks.
