Dimitri Vassilakis US Live Appearances

Greek saxophonist / vocalist Dimitri Vassilakis is pleased to announce his upcoming US live appearances: Wednesday April 18th at The Jazz Showcase Chicago 2 sets 8 and 10pm with Columbia College Big Band and faculty quartet to present "Across The Universe", Friday April 20th at Monmouth College Auditorium 8pm with faculty trio to present "Daedalus Project - Labyrinth", Friday April 27th at Fat Cat with Michela Marino and trio, tap jam! 10:30pm-1am, with Nana Simopoulos group at Le Pescadeux
May 9th, 7-10pm, Monday May 7th 9-11PM at The Zinc Bar with "Jazz Acts"
(Dimitri Vassilakis saxes/vocals, Theo Hill piano, Essiet Essiet bass, Sylvia Cuenca drums, Michela Marino tap dance plus surprise guests!!).

Dimitri Vassilakis Greek saxophonist, vocalist and composer will present a selection of tunes from his award winning discography for Candid Records and new material developing under his new project "jazz acts". At The Zinc bar with his regular NY quartet as on his latest recordings, plus the amazing tap dancing rhythms of Michela Marino.

Jazz Showcase concert to conclude an intensive week of Dimitri' s seminars & workshops at Columbia College, while his Monmouth appearance after a special presentation and tribute for his album "Daedalus Project - Labyrinth" (an album of the year for the BBC)
