Lloyd Gregory takes San Francisco Bay Area Jazz and Blues scene by storm

The San Francisco Jazz and Blues scene just got hotter with the melodically soulful and award-winning guitarist Lloyd Gregory as he returns to Biscuits & Blues, San Francisco's #1 blues nightclub, for two sets, Sunday December 18th, featuring his stellar band of all-stars to celebrate the recent release of his fifth album, "Gentle Warrior", for Grammy -winning bass legend Stanley Clarke's Roxboro Entertainment Group label. A master of both acoustic and electric guitar, Lloyd has released four other critically acclaimed recordings as a bandleader and has recorded and/or performed with esteemed talent such as Martha Reeves, Freddie Stone, Rodney Franklin, George Duke, Joe Sample, and many others in a career that spans decades.

Music magazine Minor 7th: Acoustic Music Review says, "Lloyd expertly fuses soul, pop and jazz, forging a hybrid that is both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating." Gregory himself says of his new record, "As we grow in time, age, experience, knowledge and wisdom, there comes a time when it's time to put it all to music and share it with the world. For this album, it was time to make music for my friends."

"Lloyd is what I like to call a household musician, " Clarke says. "He is just a sweet warm guy, which comes out in his music. His music reminds me of a modern-day Wes Montgomery." Music fans can find Lloyd Gregory at www.lloyd-gregory.com, as well as itunes, amazon and google cart.
