Keb’ Mo’ maps fall tour with New England stops

Keb' Mo' will hit the road this fall on a thirty-date tour in support of his new album, The Reflection. The blues great will hit New England for multiple shows including a date at the Somerville Theatre on Friday, September 23.

The Reflection, which was released last month, is a follow-up to 2006's Suitcase. Self-produced, the new album features duets with India.Arie and Vince Gill, as well as performances by Dave Koz, Marcus Miller, Mindi Abair and world-renowned studio musician David T. Walker. Featuring lead single, "The Whole Enchilada", The Reflection also marks the blues virtuoso's first release on his newly formed record label Yolabelle International.

"I worked on this record for the better part of two years, " explained Keb' Mo' in a press release. "It took me some time as this was an educational process for me and my engineer John Schirmer. I didn't want to let it go until I had something that I was proud to share with the public. It's the culmination of all of my influences throughout my career."

In related news, Keb' Mo' recently guest starred on TNT's hit show "Memphis Beat". The Grammy Award winner is the music composer for the show and performs the theme song.

Prior to the show in Somerville, Keb' Mo' will perform at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts on September 21. Aside from the Massachusetts shows, he will will make several other stops throughout New England this fall including: Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, New Hampshire on September 21, Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vermont, State Theatre in Portland, Maine on September 28 and the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord, New Hampshire on September 29.
