Fourth annual Garage Rock Jamboree Oct. 30

The fourth annual Garage Rock Jubilee is set for the Pig's Ear Tavern, Brock St., on Saturday, Oct. 30. It will again be presented by The Bareknuckle Record Company, in conjunction with the Pig's Ear Tavern from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The event starts at 3 p.m. with live music on the patio of the Pig's Ear till dusk when the music shifts indoors. Expect about a dozen local and nationally reputable musical acts to take to the two stages, states a press release.

Acts are confirmed and the headliner will be one-man band's band, from Montreal, Bloodshot Bill and the Hand- Cuffs.

This musical celebration, inspired by musical festivals of the deep south, has been designed to showcase the local Peterborough rock scene with blues rock, hard rock, melodic rock, pop rock, indie rock and punk rock.

There will be door prizes and prizes for best costumes!

Jeff Curtis will be cooking authentic southern style fried chicken on site, which is available for purchase for all people attending the Jubilee and the general public. Additional side dishes will be served courtesy of Muddy's Pit BBQ of Keene.
