House of Blues Atlantic City Presents Rapper Ludacris

Atlantic City concert and event center House of Blues is preparing for the rapper Ludacris to perform this September. Ludacris will be performing at the House of Blues Atlantic City on Friday, September 24 at 8 p.m.

Ludacris entered the music scene in 2000 with the release of his major label debut album Back for the First Time. The album reached #4 on the U.S. Billboard 200. His successes continued through the releases of six more studio albums, most recently Battle of the Sexes in March 2010.

Ludacris' first five albums have all achieved multi-platinum status, and his previous two releases are both certified gold. Battle of the Sexes sold 137, 000 copies in its first week, making its debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200.

Ludacris has received a total of 16 Grammy Award nominations and has won three. In 2005, Ludacris received his first Grammy Award along with Usher and Lil Jon for their single "Yeah!" The hit song won for Record of the Year. In 2007, he won Best Rap Song for "Money Maker" and Best Rap Album for "Release Therapy."

Ludacris has also been recognized for his acting, receiving the award for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture" for Crash.
