Chris Watson Playing Benefit Performance for Kodi Tutt T

Chris Watson, the Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter will be playing a benefit concert for 5 year old cancer patient Kodi Tutt at the Sanger City Square at 3:00pm Saturday April 10th. Kodi was recently diagnosed with an advanced neuroblastoma and is currently undergoing treatment. Fans and supporters of Kodi are encouraged to arrive at the event early to participate in all of the activities designed to help raise money for Kodi's treatment. There will be an auction following Chris' concert performance with items that include a guitar autographed by George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Johnny Rodriquez, Tim McGraw and several other well-known entertainers. Many other auction items including a dirt bike have been donated by local merchants and well wishers.

When Chris heard about Kodi, he immediately wanted to do something to help her cause. Chris survived a bout with cancer at a very young age and he wanted to support Kodi the best way he knew how, through his music. Chris will be donating 100% of the CD sales at the concert from his newest CD "Just For Show". Chris Watson has shared the bill with some of the country's biggest stars including .38 Special, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Buddy Guy, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tab Benoit, Guitar Shorty, The Arc Angels, Walter Trout and many more. Chris is currently touring in support of his new CD, "Just For Show", on GatorGroove Records. In October 2009, prior to release, "Just For Show" was receiving airplay on over 300 stations across the country as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and in Europe. "Just For Show" charted #28 the first month released, and was put into syndication to 125 stations where it was heard by over 2, 066, 00 listeners.
