| Cheadle Gets Family's Blessing To Play Miles Davis Miles Davis' nephew has confirmed reports Don Cheadle will play the jazz legend in a new biopic. Vince Wilburn, Jr. reveals Cheadle will also direct the film and Herbie Hancock will score the project. Davis' relative is working with the Kind of Blue star's son Erin to bri ng the project to the big screen after a bust-up with a former screenwrit er. Wilburn, Jr. says, "Don didn't like the other writer that was a ttached to the movie, so there's a new writer named Steven Vegelm an that Don's writing with.
