Global Fusion in Qatar

Bank Sarasin-Alpen (Qatar) LLC a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd, a leading Swiss private bank, together with its investment banking associate Alpen Capital Investment Bank (Qatar) LLC will host its second annual Global Fusion concert on Thursday, 12 November 2009 at the Intercontinental Doha.

Global Fusion is the companies' flagship event and was first introduced to mark the launch of its operations in the region back in 2005.

The Qatar Operations of Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital started in February 2008. The two organizations function in a unique business model wherein the investment banking capabilities of Alpen Capital complement the private banking activities of Bank Sarasin-Alpen.

This year's 'Global Fusion' brings together 11 artistes from across the world with their varied musical styles. The concert will feature George Brooks - the world renowned saxophonist as the lead artiste along with musical gurus like Imamyar Hasanov, Steve Smith, Niladari Kumar, Fazal Quershi, Homayun Sakhi, Fareed Haque, Kai Eckhardt and Hossam & Serena Ramzy. One of the main highlights of the concert is the presence of the Qatari Oudh player - Abdul Aziz Jassim Al Hidose.

The Global Fusion which is a much sought after networking occasion Global will be attended by Bank Sarasin-Alpen's and Alpen Capital's clients from across the GCC as well as many leading personalities of the region.
