Those planning to take a break in Italy next month may be interested to learn that the Roma Jazz Festival takes place from November 8th to 30th.
The festival brings together some of the world's finest musicians and features a packed programme of events, with performances being held at the state-of-the-art Auditorium Parco della Musica.

Some of the people set to take to the stage over the course of the 23-day extravaganza include British singer Jamie Cullum, the So What Band, Sonny Rollins, Roberto Fonseca and Nicola Conte.

In addition, the Gabrielle Mirabassi Trio and the Antonio Placer Trio will also be on hand to keep the crowds entertained.

Those staying in Rome hotels can purchase tickets over the phone or by visiting the box office at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, which is open daily from 11am to 8pm.

First held in 1976, the Roma Jazz Festival has presented concerts to more than one million people since it was established and continues to go from strength to strength, attracting music lovers from across Europe.

As well as musical performances, several movies will be screened throughout the festival, including Srefano Bollani Portrait in Blue and Atlantic Records: The House That Ahmet Built.
