Blood, Sweat, and Tears at the Berklee Performance Center

Blood, Sweat & Tears, one of the greatest horn bands in popular music, will perform Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m., at the Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. All ticket sales from the concert will fund the Elsie Monica Colomby Scholarship at Berklee, an award named after BS&T founder Bobby Colomby's mother, who was an avid patron of the arts.

A musical institution, Blood Sweat & Tears is best known for their signature fusion of rock, blues, pop, horn arrangement and jazz improvisation. Founded in 1968, BS&T has an alumni roster that reads like a who's who of the world's greatest jazz and rock musicians. The band has earned three Grammy Awards—including Album of the Year in 1970—10 Grammy nominations, and multiple gold albums.
