Big Bad Ball Announces Entertainment Lineup

Diane Dennis, co-chair of the Big Bad Ball event committee announced today the musical entertainment for the 8th annual event. The gala fund raiser for Hospice of Wake County will feature two local acts which will perform rock, pop and big band tunes throughout the evening.

Casablanca Orchestra, a popular Raleigh-based big band will perform ballroom, swing and shag until 10 PM. An intimate jazz performance by selected band members will follow in the pub. Triangle locals tHE.DESIGN will continue the party, playing their unique brand of pop-rock until the end of the evening.

"We are excited to have two diverse and talented local groups providing entertainment for the event, " said April Mills, event co-chair. "No matter your musical tastes, this year's Big Bad Ball supporters will have a great time turning up the heat on the dance floor!"

Hosted by the Young Executives Board of the Capital City Club, the 8th annual Big Bad Ball is the gala fund raiser for Hospice of Wake County, a private nonprofit organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care and support for terminally ill patients and their families.
