Berklee brings to Kendall Square free lunchtime concert series

Berklee's fifth Kendall Square Concert Series takes place every Thursday throughout the summer—and it's free for lunchtime music lovers. Performers include Berklee students and alumni playing original jazz, Latin, hip-hop, rock, folk, funk, and reggae.

Concerts takes place in the outdoor plaza at 300 Athenaeum Street, Kendall Square, Cambridge, on Thursdays, noon to 1:30 p.m., June 4 through September 10. Concerts will be postponed in inclement weather. The series is sponsored by the BioMed Realty Trust, Inc.

Thursday, July 2— Gentleman Hall (dance floor funk)
Thursday, July 9 — Neara Russell (rock)
Thursday, July 16 — Tubby Love (reggae)
Thursday, July 23 — La Timbistica (Latin jazz)
Thursday, July 30 — Alex Wintz (jazz)
Thursday, August 6 — Emily Elbert (singer/songwriter)
Thursday, August 13 — Emily Hulslander / Shea Rose (singer/songwriter with varied influences)
Thursday, August 20— Adrianne Lenker (pop singer/songwriter)
Thursday, August 2 7— Reality featuring Jovol “Bam Bam” Bell (hip-hop/jazz)
Thursday, September 3 — Hailey Niswanger Quartet (jazz)
Thursday, September 10 — Berklee Monterey Quintet (jazz)
