Elk Creek Vineyards' 2009 Outdoor Concert Series

Blues musician Buddy Guy, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a chief guitar influence to rock titans like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, and Vaughan, plays at Elk Creek Vineyards' outdoor amphitheater in Owenton, Ky., on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Also performing is pre-teen guitar whiz Quinn Sullivan, whose prodigal talents have been showcased on the Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres shows.

Concert-goers will enjoy Grammy-winning blues while sipping award-winning wine in a valley amphitheater which is surrounded by abundant vineyards and violet-ginger sunsets.

The Buddy Guy/Quinn Sullivan concert is part of Elk Creek Vineyards' 2009 Summer Concert Series presented by Kroger. Other guest artists include Country chart-rising Justin Moore (July 11), Darius Rucker (July 17) and The Temptations (September 12).

"Rural hillsides provide natural acoustics and a picture-perfect venue for our concerts. When Buddy Guy was here last year, he made his way offstage and worked the crowd…even using an outdoor sculpture as a performance platform, " recalled Curtis Sigretto, owner of Elk Creek Vineyards.

General admission is $30. Preferred/Gold/VIP seating and dinner tickets are also available. The show starts at 7:00 PM; gates open 4:30 PM. Bring your lawn chairs. Tickets are on sale now - visit Buddy Guy Concert.
