Some Kind of Jam 4 Music Festival

Providing a safe, fun, low-cost experience and a wide variety of live music styles touted as top reasons for festival's continued growth amidst economic downturn. Some Kind of Jam 4 Music Festival today announced another year of impressive growth for its grassroots themed music festival.

Presented by JibberJazz and held April 24–26th, at Kempton County Fairgrounds in Kempton, PA, this year's festival featured headliner and Jammy Award winner, The Breakfast (thebreakfast.org). Festival-goers enjoyed two all-weather stages and over 25 local and regional musical acts ranging in style from Americana/Folk, Rock, Jazz, and Blues to Funk genres.

"For the most part, I believe we attract the right kind of festival people. People who all share a common love of live music, " said Jon Sten, JibberJazz promoter. "These are the people we want at our events… people who are there for the music, to fall in love, and make friends."

"Some Kind of Jam 4 has built a name for itself and is forming an ever-growing and always loyal fan base, " said Jennifer Svenningsen, writer for online festival review site, FestivalFamily (festivalfamily.com). "JibberJazz has a hard-working staff that is dedicated to providing a safe, fun environment for all who attend..."

Growth of any kind during today's economic downturn is news-worthy on its own. But, growth amidst an ever growing list of top-notch music festivals in the Northeast and across the country is a good indication Some Kind of Jam 4 is certainly hitting its mark as a well-crafted grassroots music festival.
