Ryan Shaw Returns Home

Brooklyn-based soul singer Ryan Shaw will return to New York City for his first headlining performance since the release of his critically acclaimed debut, 'This Is Ryan Shaw' (One Haven/RED), with a July 31st concert at the Highline Ballroom. Shaw, whose soaring and emotionally charged vocals have brought comparisons to soul legends like Wilson Pickett and Sam Cooke, has been winning over audiences across the country with his energized live shows, and now he's ready to bring it on home to New York.

Shaw's debut album 'This Is Ryan Shaw, ' a mix of soul gems and fresh originals, has been flooring listeners since its April release. He gives the greats a run for their money. The Washington Post's Josh Freedom du Lac raved about Shaw's stunning voice in a recent article. "So big and raw and rangy, that voice. So churchy and unmistakably Southern. So full of fire and conviction, exploding with energy and emotion."
