The Folks on the Island festival will be held every Saturday during the month of July. All shows will begin at 1:30 PM (rain or shine) and will be free of charge. Likewise the ferry service to and from the island will also be provided at no cost. All shows are first come/first serve and attendees are encouraged to show up early in the day to ensure seating. Award-winning multi-instrumentalist / singer / songwriters Tom & Steve Chapin present their own music of love, protest and discovery, with more than a few laughs along the way! However, this journey also includes a special Taxi ride through the catalogue of songs that made the name Harry famous! In an evening to remember, the famous musical Chapin Family comes together to celebrate and bring alive the music of the late Harry Chapin. Songs like "Taxi", "Cats In The Cradle", "Mr. Tanner", and "Circle" are sung by those who know them best- Harry's original band and his amazing family.
