Red Velvet's Debut Album Release

Caroline Waters and Carter Dewberry created Red Velvet to inspire people to deeper sensual awakening. They are now preparing to release their first album, Sensations. This release will be coupled with their debut performance as Red Velvet on April 23 at the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles and on April 26 at Koos Art Center in Long Beach, CA.

This album, and their collaboration, is fraught with as much intensity and passion as can be expected with the collision of vastly different worlds and exploration into new ways of being, personally and musically. Norwegian star Caroline Waters has left behind the familiarity and safety of being a multi-talented solo act to open to new levels of vulnerability and trust. American artist Carter Dewberry has stepped outside her comfortable life as chamber and studio musician to unlock previously hidden talents as a singer, poet and composer. Together they have created an album that depicts their exploration into all stages of sensual expression, with songs ranging from innocent expressions of love to passionate cries of desire. Little Girl explores the innocence of youth. Loving Her is a refreshing song that exudes the joy of being in love. By contrast, Seduction, is a driving, rhythmic, passionate cry signaling the power of desire for physical connection.

These performances will be the CD release concerts for the new album as well as the public unveiling of the identity known as Red Velvet. Musical guests Abe Laboriel and Katisse Buckingham will join Red Velvet onstage (on April 23 only) while a video depicting sensory images streams from behind, creating an experience never to be forgotten.
