On Monday April 23rd Trinity Concerts will welcome Meg Okura and the Pan Asian Chamber Jazz Ensemble (Meg Okura, violin and erhu; Jun Kubo, flute; Jennifer Vincent, cello; Mamiko Kituara, piano; Rich Stein, percussion) into the intimate musical confines of St Paul's Chapel. Led by soloist, concertmaster, composer and violinist Okura, the Pan Asian Chamber Jazz Ensemble will perform original works drawing from classical, world, and even folk music.

Combining classical training and a passion for improvisation, the Ensemble plays music that is progressive, emotional and thrillingly fresh. Meg Okura has played on works by everyone from David Bowie to Herbie Hancock to Kanye West. The Pan Asian Chamber Jazz Ensemble recently released their self-titled debut album to extremely positive reviews. Come take advantage of the opportunity to see them in the acoustics masterpiece that is St Paul's Chapel.
