Crazy Frog's Christmas Album

After passing on covering 'Ding Ding Merrily on High' and 'Hoppin' Around the Christmas Tree', the Crazy Frog will release 'Last Christmas' on 11th December (Tug Records) as a tribute to George Michael and his 25th anniversary gig…

Originally a hit for Wham in 1984, the track peaked at number 2 in the UK, but bookies are already taking bets on the frog topping the charts this Christmas.

Once again, the single, which includes party B-sides 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' and 'Nellie the Elephant' (interpreted as only the Frog can), has delivered an animated video to match the work of Disney or Pixar's finest. Not only does our froggy friend escape from a factory trying to mould him into a doll, but he unwittingly frees Santa Claus from his dungeon where he is being held prisoner!!

Loved by millions around the world, the Crazy Frog dominated the pop charts throughout 2005. In Britain he has sold 150, 000 copies of his first album 'Crazy Hits' and 700, 000 singles – his debut single 'Axel F' was number 1 for 4 weeks in the UK charts and he made a Top 10 appearance in the singles charts this summer with his football anthem "We Are The Champions" – making the 4th UK hit single for Crazy.

Mr Frog's recording career has since notched up 28 number 1's throughout the world, including 3 months at number 1 in New Zealand and 3 months in France where 'Axel F' alone has sold 1.6 million copies. The USA has also embraced our friend where sales are in excess of 800, 000 units! Not bad going from a humble beginning.
