Armen Nalbandian has joined Nino Moschella

Pianist and composer, Armen Nalbandian has joined the band of ubiquity recording artist, Nino Moschella. Nalbandian had just ended performing with his Funk project, The Armen Nalbandian Experiment (one of his many groups) when approached by Moschella to join his group.

In addition to Armen's current activites as the F.A.M.'s Musical Director and leading his trio (with a new recording scheduled to be released in 2007), Armen is now a member of the band Nino Moschella and the Little Big People.

From Armen:, "From the moment I heard Nino's music, I totally dug it. When Ray Moore left my electric band (The Armen Nalbandian Experiment), Nino was the logical choice as his replacement, and from the moment we started playing we had a great vibe. Currently that band is on hiatus, but fortunately Nino has asked me join his band, and I of course accepted and am excited that I get to still play soul/funk music. I am very excited to be starting this new chapter in my musical career, as well as continuing my work with the trio and other projects."

Nino Moschella will also be appearing as a part of Armen Nalbandian's new ensemble "Balance" premiering on Nov. 30th in Fresno's Bonner Auditorium.
