Charles Bibbs At South Orange

On Sunday, November 12, 2006 Charles Bibbs will sign his works at Monica's Art Noire Gallery in South Orange, NJ. Charles Bibbs is an internationally acclaimed fine artist whose work is thought provoking and capable of arousing strong emotions.

Charles Bibbs is an accomplished Fine Artist, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. Bibbs' artwork fuses African, African American and Native American cultural themes to make powerful cross cultural statements. He founded B Graphics and Fine Arts, one of the most successful publishers and distributors of ethnic artwork. Bibbs founded Art 2000, a non-profit visual art association that also publishes Images Magazine, the first national publication dedicated to ethnic art. Art 2000 has grown Art on Tour, a traveling exhibit that features the works of other artists. Charles Bibbs' passion for jazz music led to his founding Inland Empire Music and Arts Foundation. For three years he has brought an annual world-class jazz and art festival to Southern California and funding to a number of art and music youth programs.
