The Savoy Label Group: New Hiring & Promotions

During an unprecedented week which saw the label debut records on the Billboard Top 200, New Age and Classical sales charts as well as Radio & Record's Smooth Jazz and A/C airplay charts, Steve Vining, President of the Savoy Label Group announced the hiring of Joe Mozian as Director of Product Development & Marketing. Mozian will be based out of SLG's New York office.

SLG has had a record-breaking 2006 so far with the signing of Jim Brickman to SLG Records which was #1 Most added on R&R's Smooth Jazz and Adult Contemporary radio charts this week as well as Billboard sales charts -- New Age at #1 as well as charting Billboard's Top 200. Andre Rieu has consolidated his position as the #1 Classical Artist of 2006 and will have two new projects for the fall, "Homecoming" and "Christmas Around the World" -- both supported by extensive PBS programming.

Says Steve Vining, President of the Savoy Label Group: "We're lucky to have such an experienced and committed staff here at SLG. This fall results confirm our position as a leading boutique handling adult music. We expect to further that position in 2007."
