Behringer Grooves At Two Major Bass Events In Europe

Behringer, a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of professional audio and musical instrument products, will exhibit its range of bass products and present live performances at two leading bass events in October: the Eurobass Day in Verona Italy (Oct. 21-22) and the European Bass Day in Krefeld Germany (Oct. 29), which is world's biggest event of its kind.

Center stage at both exhibitions will be the recently launched Behringer Ultrabass Bass Guitar Pack. At the core of this guitar pack is an electric bass guitar featuring a 34" long scale maple neck with 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, chrome machine heads and a humbucker pickup. Accompanying the guitar is the Ultrabass BT108, a 15-Watt bass amp with VTC (virtual tube circuitry), a powerful 8" speaker, dedicated 4-band EQ, a separate headphone output and additional CD input. A padded gig bag, high-quality instrument cable, an adjustable strap and three picks round up the guitar pack.

Other products from the Behringer Ultrabass range that are on display include the BXL series bass amplifier workstations, the BX amps and the BB speaker cabinets.

Martin Engelien, the Behringer European Market Maker for bass instruments and amplification, will be playing at both events. While he will be performing solo in Verona, he will be accompanied by the young sensation and Behringer Power User Dennis Hormes and his Blues Band at the event in Krefeld. Engelien will demonstrate the gear at its best and be a competent point of contact for the highly regarded professionals as well as bass enthusiasts attending the events.

"In recent years, both events have built up a strong following and they have become a fixed date on the calendar for many big names in the bass scene. Last year we had the fabulous Darryl Jones, who has performed for stars like Miles Davis, Sting and the Rolling Stones in Verona, while Linley Marthe who plays with Joe Zawinul and Weather Report was at European Bass Day. The Behringer bass range is therefore proud to be associated with such a world-class event, " commented Martin Engelien.
