Gregory J. Bennett's comeback

Gregory J. Bennett is back after surviving the devastation and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina last year in New Orleans, LA. With his new project, Fonkmasters, Gregory discovered the studio vocal group, blended his unique music flava with their flava and created a new brand of contemporary jazz. This collaboration led to a highly anticipated CD entitled 'Funky Urban Nights', which is getting great reviews from the preliminary feedback of industry insiders.

The CD is scheduled to be released to retail outlets by September 7th, 2006. Gregory is relieved and thankful to have survived such a major disaster as Hurricane Katrina. Now he's back doing what he's loves and that's great, as he attempts to recover and rebuild his life and career.

Now, based in LaPlace, Gregory is currently networking online with independent filmmakers, mobile entertainment companies and video game developers. He was asked to compose the soundtrack for the soon-to-be release film entitled 'Cain and Abel' for Mercury Rising Films. This film is getting rave reviews at film festivals across the country.
