Atomic Brother's New Album

Mixing was completed on Atomic Brother's highly anticipated new album at the end of July. Patrick Aeby mixed the untitled album at his Soundlake Studios, where the album was recorded.

Atomic Brother plans on including 13 music tracks on the album, which are firmly planted in the band's hard rock roots, but take some turns exploring their punk, goth, metal and even pop music influences. The album should take the listener on an musical and emotional roller coaster. "We are really proud of this record, " says bassist/founder S.A. Sebastian Gnolfo, "there are some really good songs along with some really cool riffs." Guitarist/founder James Melillo says about one of the tracks, "that is some weird-ass, f***ed up, evil sounding crazy s**t. The bridge sounds like total insanity."

For the next step, mastering, the band has a specific studio and mastering engineer they want to work with to complete the album and will schedule mastering when he frees up from his current commitments.

Atomic Brother is an independent, hard rock band, based in the NYC/NJ area, featuring James Melillo (guitar and lead vocals) and S.A. Sebastian Gnolfo (bass and vocals). The band released the single "Elected" in October of 2004 to Active Rock and Heavy Metal commercial and college radio stations in October.

Patrick Aeby recorded and played drums for the bands Krokus, DC World, Sideburn, Genocide and the Vitamine Blues Band. He mixed and produced Krokus' Rock the Block and Fire and Gasoline albums, Genocide's Stranded and Sideburn's Sell Your Soul For Rock and Roll. Patrick also played with James and Sebastian in the Switzerland-based band Joey Fulco and the Subway Gunmen in 1994.
