Cheyenne Kimball's Canadian tour

Cheyenne Kimball is preparing to bring the sound of her debut album to fans across Canada. The Frisco, Texas native will celebrate the Tuesday, August 8 release of her rocking, blues and roots-infused The Day Has Come by performing at HMV locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. These performances will be electric, full band affairs and will also include fan autograph sessions. "HMV is both delighted and honoured to showcase Cheyenne autograph sessions in our stores, " says HMV Canada Director of Marketing Saundra Bianchi. "She is a bright, promising artist that we are proud to share with our customers."

The teenaged Cheyenne first entered the spotlight when she won NBC's America's Most Talented Kid televised competition in 2003. After that victory she signed to Epic records, who were amazed to find Cheyenne had already penned almost 200 original songs. After finishing The Day Has Come earlier this year, Cheyenne and her family left behind their longtime home in Frisco and moved to Los Angeles so she could rehearse for a summer tour. To capture the surreal reality behind Cheyenne's drive to succeed as a singer and songwriter, MTV cameras began documenting her life for a program titled Cheyenne. The program is currently enjoying great ratings on both sides of the border.
