Machine Records Artists

Machine Records is launching this year with three amazing artists: Wreckloose, 2Five and Swirl. Wreckloose is a dynamic groundbreaking trio that brings back the soulful sounds of the 60's and 70's and combines it with the rhyme and poetry of Hip-Hop. Their debut album, "Shake It Apart, " is due in late July.

2Five, aka The Hood Reverend, is a Christian artist who seeks to usher in a positive message of life and love utilizing the popular medium of Hip-Hop and R&B or as he calls it "Urban Inspirational." His debut, "Common, " will be released in September.

Swirl is a well-established group currently experiencing a revitalized career thanks to Rhonda Bedikian, their publisher who is also VP of Publishing and Licensing for The Machine. Swirl's new project is due in October.

The Machine also has two other record labels, The Groove (a legacy imprint which will feature releases from soul stars of the 70s and 80s) and Well-Oiled Records, a contemporary jazz and jazz fusion label.

The Machine's television division is currently developing Hip Hop Church America, a vibrant and uplifting, one-hour weekly program billed as "not your parent's church service." The show is the vision of Kurtis Blow, a legendary pioneer of rap music who helped launch the genre into the mainstream.

Each of the principals involved in the creation and running of The Machine have backgrounds in business and the music industry. CEO Michael Reynolds has worked in various management and music industry posts since the mid-80s and has extended his scope as an entrepreneur into co-founding public companies such as Big City Bagels and FlexScan, Inc.

President Michael Nason is a legend in the public relations world who has also produced, promoted and bought airtime for Robert Schuller's "Hour of Power" show, broadcast to millions weekly from the world famous Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.
