Siegel Schwall Band at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center

Siegel-Schwall Band will perform in Colorado with special guests the Chicago Blues Reunion. The concert will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center. It is part of the BOEC's year-long 30th Anniversary celebration.

The Siegel-Schwall Band and the Chicago Blues Reunion join forces in creating a celebration of the blues. These cultural icons helped to develop a distinctive sound in the 60's for their generation, and influenced those that followed. The all-star line up includes hit makers such as: Nick Gravenites (had hits for Joplin and Butterfield) Harvey Mandel, (appeared at Woodstock with Canned Heat), and Corky Siegel (blues harp ace who recorded with symphonies). Rolling Stone Magazine recently gave these blues legends "4 Stars".

All proceeds from the July 2nd concert will go directly towards the BOEC's scholarship fund. This fund provides tuition assistance to enable disadvantaged participants who cannot afford the full cost of tuition to attend a BOEC Adaptive Ski or Wilderness Program. Equally exciting, July 3rd will be BOEC Day at Coors Field when Corky Siegel, blues harp ace will play the National Anthem.
