Stanford Jazz Workshop

Each summer Stanford Jazz Workshop has created a lively and supportive community of jazz artists, educators, students, and enthusiasts on the campus of Stanford University. SJW's programs provide an exceptional immersion in jazz, fostering a deeper appreciation of this great improvisational music genre, hailed by many as "the definitive American art form."

Stanford Jazz Workshop's 35th Season will be presented June 24 through August 5. Events will include the Stanford Jazz Festival; the Jazz Camp for students aged 12 to 17; the Jazz Residency for adults and advanced youth; and the Evening Summer class series for students 12 and older. All events will be presented at Stanford's Braun Music Center and Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Founded in 1972, the Stanford Jazz Workshop is a nonprofit organization dedicated to jazz education and appreciation.
