Danielle Peck will perform June 3 at the Roanoke

Country music artist Danielle Peck will perform at an outdoor summer concert on June 3 at the Rapids music and entertainment venue. Peck adds to an already impressive lineup that features the multi-platinum country artists Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy, and includes Academy of Country Music New Male Vocalist award winner Jason Aldean and local southern rock and country band, Southern Draw.

The June 3 concert is the first in a series of "Randy Parton and Carolina Crossroads Present" concerts leading up to the grand opening of The Randy Parton Theatre, which will feature a 35, 000 square foot, 1, 500-seat amphitheater.

"We are delighted to add Danielle Peck and her country and blues sound to our June 3 concert lineup, " said Randy Parton, owner of Moonlight Bandit Productions, LLC. "Her music rounds out a great set of country musicians and helps launch Carolina Crossroads as a premier venue for live country music, " said Michael Dunlow, president of Carolina Crossroads.

Described as a modern country girl – vulnerable and confident – Danielle Peck has exploded onto the country scene, capturing the ears and hearts of country fans nationwide. Her music has been portrayed as revealing all the complexities associated with being a young woman making her way into the new millennium. As a songwriter, she is grounded enough to write honest and emotional material and as a vocalist, she offers shades of her influences, including artists such as Reba McEntire, Shania Twain and Faith Hill.
