Bryan Harrell's new album

Singer/songwriter Bryan Harrell announces the release of his new album, Everything. Born in Chicago, Harrell began his music career at age two when he was given his first guitar. He began writing songs at the age of 14 and developed a sound that some describe as a cross between the lyricism of James Taylor and the musicality of John Hyatt.

Specializing in story songs, Everything is a collection of adult contemporary music compositions based on Harrell's years traveling around the country listening to sounds such as the rock and roll of Memphis, the blues of Chicago and songwriting influences of Nashville.

Known for his crystal clear lyrics and sweet voice, Harrell's goal, above all, is to tell stories through song. When asked how he aims to impact his listeners, Harrell explains, "I want to affect people's emotions -- to offer them a thoughtful perspective on life that they might not otherwise have."

Featured on the album is the original composition "If you love me." Driven by voice, guitar and drums, the song is a perfect example of the style of music Harrell is best known for. Supported by simple harmonies, Harrell uses his gift of melody to tell a compelling story about love, bad influences and breaking the law.
