| Lil' Ed and Conan O'Brien at the Chicago Theatre Blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Lil' Ed Williams, the leader of Lil' Ed and The Blues Imperials, will appear in both a filmed segment and live on stage when Late Night With Conan O'Brien broadcasts from the Chicago Theatre on Wednesday, May 10, 2006. O'Brien, who brings his show to Chicago this week, asks Lil' Ed to teach him how to become a real bluesman. The segment was filmed three weeks ago at the famed B.L.U.E.S. On Halsted club. After the film airs, Lil' Ed will jam on stage with O'Brien and The Max Weinberg 7. This is the first time in his almost 30-year career that Williams appears in front of a national television audience.
