StubHub, the fans' ticket marketplace, announces key music based partnerships including: the 10th Annual Superfly During JazzFest Concert Series in New Orleans, occurring April 28 - May 6; DJ AM and Travis Barker VIP packages for performances April 7, 13 and 14, benefiting The Race to Erase MS; and a Collective Soul VIP ticket package in Austin, Tex. April 22, benefiting the Charity Partners of Austin.

StubHub is the premier sponsor of the 2006 "Superfly During JazzFest" concert series in New Orleans, occurring Fri., April 28 through Sat., May 6. The festival presents top national talent alongside some of the best acts from New Orleans' rich music scene at several venues, including the Contemporary Arts Center, The Republic (formerly Howlin' Wolf), and the Riverboat Cajun Queen, among several others. Confirmed performers currently include: The Meters; Gov't Mule; Galactic; Robert Randolph and many others.

The Superfly During JazzFest Concert Series began in 1997 to fulfill an intense demand for nighttime music events during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Since then, the event has become a premier destination for music fans from all over the country. Spanning 10 days and several venues, the Superfly series caters to a group of passionate music lovers who favor improvisation-based acts of all sorts. With a history that served as the foundation for such iconic national events as the Bonnaroo and Vegoose music festivals, the Superfly series has presented live music fans with creative entertainment options throughout the past nine festival seasons, and will continue to offer memorable events despite the damage endured by many usual New Orleans venues. The festival's first post-Katrina installment will also include a charity event called the Frenchmen Street Fest. The all-day concert will take place on Thursday, May 4 in Washington Square Park.

Additionally, StubHub is offering VIP packages for a series of DJ AM and Travis Barker live concert appearances occurring April 7 at Mezzanine in San Francisco and two New York performances on April 13 at Crobar and April 14 at Stereo. VIP packages for these shows will benefit The Race to Erase MS.

StubHub is also offering a Collective Soul VIP ticket package for the band's April 22 performance at The Glenn at the Backyard in Austin, Tex. VIP packages are available at www.stubhub.com and include VIP tickets and pre-show party access. The event will benefit Odyssey School and other local Austin charities supporting kids and families through the Charity Partners of Austin.

"StubHub is committed to providing the vehicle to fulfill the passions of avid music fans everywhere, " said Jeff Fluhr, founder and CEO of StubHub. "By continuing to create unique partnerships with music events and artists, we are able to help take the fan closer to the music than ever before."

Shortly following its inception in 2000, StubHub began creating and developing charitable-driven components through its Exclusive Events and All-Inclusive Packages. Some recent artist packages have included: Clay Aiken, Coldplay, Creed, Def Leppard, Dixie Chicks, Godsend, Avril Lavigne, Madonna, John Mayer, Alanis Morissette, Jessica Simpson, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

Most recently, Musicians on Call partnered with StubHub to sell a VIP package that included front row tickets to the Allman Brothers Band March 25 performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Proceeds for the auction benefited Musicians on Call, whose mission is to bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.

Also, legendary singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins partnered with StubHub on a VIP auction package to benefit The Unity Shoppe, a charity whose mission is to encourage self-sufficiency and independence by providing education and the necessities of life to families, children, seniors and persons with disabilities during periodic times of crisis. The winning bidder was awarded a VIP music experience with Kenny Loggins that included VIP tickets, backstage passes and autographed merchandise at Loggins' March 26 performance at the North Fork Theatre in Westbury, N.Y.
