Successful week for Drew Seeley

Canadian-born singer, songwriter, and producer, Drew Seeley, is enjoying a successful week, with a gold record (‘High School Musical’), and 2 gold singles (‘Breaking Free’ & ‘Getcha Head In The Game’). The song “Breaking Free” broke two Billboard records last week – including the largest one week jump of all time (86-4) and the highest ranked song ever released by Walt Disney records. Drew is the voice of lead character, Troy, in Disney Channel’s High School Musical, and the soundtrack has found a very enthusiastic and responsive audience.

Drew Seeley, a seasoned performer, whose musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Jamariquai, and Maroon 5, is a talent not to be missed this year. With unique R&B vocals, passion, and years of experience, performances by Drew are unforgettable and leave the audience wanting more. He spent three years refining his skills as the lead singer of the national act, Nu Ground. Drew gained invaluable experience touring and has performed in hundreds of venues ranging from the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, TX to more intimate settings such as The House of Blues. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Mya, K-Ci and JoJo, and Tyrese.

Additionally this month, Drew gained national exposure on MTV as the winner of ‘My Own Adam Levine’ and launched a new website www.drewseeley.net which features new music weekly. He has also recorded two more songs for Disney – One for the upcoming Cheetah Girls 2 album and a duet with Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale for the next Disney Mania CD.

With one album with Nu Ground already under his belt, Drew is poised for solo success. Visit ww.drewseeley.net for a list of upcoming events and experience first-hand who audiences are raving about.
