R&B Is Not Dead, It's Online

SpotlightGrooves.com, an all soul music site, unveils a new look and mission to promote Rhythm & Blues via the World Wide Web and assorted creative platforms.

SpotlightGrooves.com which officially debuted in July 2005, launched a new upgraded look today complete with enhanced functionality and artist information. The site features updates on new soul releases, tours, interviews, news, and sneak peeks at new singles and videos, message boards, and deserved Spotlight Albums.

SpotlightGrooves.com also provides contemporary R&B, gospel, reggae, and jazz Artist Pages, complete with bios, album reviews, discographies and direct access for listening and online purchasing.

The Internet is the first place people turn to for information, so it is fitting to find the latest and greatest in Soul music in an easy to use, informative site. "R&B has evolved from and into many different genres including Hip Hop and much of today's Popular music, " said site owner Shayna Miller, "but there are plenty of musicians still making the feel good rhythm & blues we grew up listening to. Many of the musicians featured are Gold and Platinum artists, but find it hard a home on radio or television; Spotlight Grooves.com is committed to filling this major void via the internet and live events." With so many Soul artists choosing to create their music independently, SpotlightGrooves.com makes it easy to find them.

Since inception, the site has featured interviews with top artists like Kindred, Dwele and R&B veteran Charlie Wilson; and will include eye opening conversations with Donell Jones, Syleena Johnson and Ginuwine in the near future.
