Arthur Hanlon Presents ‘Send Your Love Notes To La Gorda Linda’

Fonovisa recording artist Arthur Hanlon, in conjunction with Baldwin Pianos has teamed in a landmark piano giveaway contest called “Send Your Piropos To La Gorda Linda” (“Send your love notes to La Gorda Linda”) that will run from October 10 thru November 10, 2005.

Ever extremely creative, innovative, and thinking out of the box musically, this contest proves to be a one of a kind in the Latino market as this is the first time that audiences nationwide will get the opportunity to win a valuable music instrument.

Arthur Hanlon, a graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in NY, in a gesture of appreciation to his loyal music supporters, admiring musicians and lovers of music worldwide, will give a fortunate individual the opportunity to win this special gift: a Hamilton/Baldwin Baby Grand piano. Arthur is sponsored by Baldwin pianos.

Arthur states, “it took me five years to pay off my first grand piano. Having the opportunity to give one person the same joy my piano has given me makes me extremely happy. There is no gift like the gift of music."

Arthur Hanlon has become the first pianist to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Tropical Airplay chart with his hit single "La Gorda Linda.”

Arthur Hanlon is one of the very few artists to stand out as an individual musician (pianist) who is not afraid to take his musical prowess to new heights, by experimenting within the cultural mosaic of Latin music and the many wonders of life such as women… in particular those with curves.

This one- of- a-kind project, “La Gorda Linda” features a stellar supporting cast of musical marvels that join him on this incredible journey into a rich musical fusion: Cuban Jazz Trumpeter Arturo Sandoval along with celebrated Tropical Salsa artist Tito Nieves and ‘grupero music queen, ’ Ana Barbara.
