Brave Combo Celebrating New Release "Holidays" with a Few Good Friends At Satalla on Nov. 14,15,16

For twenty-six years, two-time Grammy Winning, Brave Combo, has blended musical experimentation with amazing talent. The result is invariably a musical trip around the globe and a dance-till-you-are-dizzy delight for faithful fans and curious newcomers. Each performance is an extraordinary celebration – a holiday of sorts -- rejoicing the sheer delight of music. A wildly diverse group of guest musicians and performers will join the five member combo on stage Monday and Tuesday night. Among those invited to perform are Garth Hudson, John Linnell, Ned Sublette, Celeste DuBois, Phoebe Leger, Steve Calhoun, Daphne Gere, Angelo DiPippo, Lauren Agnelli, Earl Normand, Misch MaKay and CornMo.

The three night dance party extravaganza will culminate with the world-wide release of Brave Combo’s new CD “Holidays” (Rounder Records) on November 16th. This CD has 19 tracks, celebrating the holidays – from News Year through Christmas, with Groundhog Day, Labor Day and St. Patrick’s Day along the way. They will also be introducing their new bassist, Ann Marie Harrop, who is replacing long-time member Bubba Hernandez in the line-up. Brave Combo is comprised of Carl Finch on keyboards, guitar, accordion and vocals; Jeffery Barnes, saxophone, woodwinds, vocals; Danny O’Brien, trumpet and vocals; Alan Emert, drums; and newcomer Ann Marie Harrop on bass and vocals.
