| Beatle Pete Best and The Michael Packer Blues Band The Pete Best Band will be appearing at Kenny's Castaways, 157 Bleecker Street, New Yok City on Sunday October 30th 2005. Pete will be performing with his superb band in support of his new DVD "Best of the Beatles' recently seen as part of 60's week on PBS. Pete Best was the original drummer in the Beatles and played on the Beatles' first Abbey Road and BBC sessions and over 650 shows with John, Paul and George. Ten of those tracks were included in the Beatles Antholgy album which sold 20 million copies. Meet Pete after the show and get autographs. Also featured on the show are New York City's own The Michael Packer Blues Band.Packer's new CD Bleecker-Bowery is receiving international attention, being distributed, by Europe's leading CD mail order record label The Bear Family (Germany).
