David Gogo heads up the line up of the Maple Ridge Jazz & Blues Festival.

Canadian guitarist of the year David Gogo heads up the impressive Times main stage lineup at this year's ninth annual Maple Ridge Jazz and Blues Festival. The Nanaimo native will bring his powerhouse driving blues rock along with his latest CD Vibe.

Originally from San Francisco and now making Vancouver home (when he’s not touring the world) is Boogie Woogie piano master Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne. Kenny delivers one of the classiest shows you will ever see. You will dance.er

The festival also presents Emmy award winning Maple Ridge actor and musician Michael Moriarty and his new jazz trio. Classically trained, Michael spent over 25 years immersed in New York’s legendary Jazz scene.

In addition, other musicians include the Gypsy Jazz stylings of The Hot Club of Mars, rocking blues with Vancouver Favorite’s Incognito, local Jazz Cats The StreetCats and an incredible, young, local Jazz Quartet Four More.

Stage 2 Swings, rocks and parties all day long. Check out the west coast Jump/swing of The Steve Hansen Trio, Rockin Blues from Eddie and The Boneshakers, and Vancouver veteran David Raven, classic jazz, blues and pop with Beatrice Sallis, an east coast folksier side of things with Tusket featuring Greg Stuart and Ivan Boudreau. The lineup is tied all together with long time festival favorite James Rogers.

Step into the luxurious Arts Center Theatre’s G&G Music Emerging Talent Stage featuring young jazz quartet Four More, rising star vocalist Katherine Quiqley, Coquitlam’s Jade Monkey and The Full Moon Trio and local Hip Hop with Ghos Feinz. Special thanks to Ridge Meadows Arts Council.
