Dekel Bor Trio Featuring Francois Moutin

The Dekel Bor Trio is very happy to welcome French Bass star Francois Moutin to the band. Mr. Moutin will join the trio in performances and in the band's recrodingd debut which will be produced this June by Grammy winning producer Robert Sadin ( Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock ) .

The Dekel Bor trio is a New York City based modern jazz group that is both dynamic and expressive. A diverse cultural collaboration, Dekel Bor, David Ruffels and Nadav Snir-Zelniker are combining the jazz traditions of small ensemble playing with modern world-music infusions. Seeking to incorporate melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic textures within an improvisational framework, the trio has developed a unique and personal interaction based on intensive listening and musical trust.

Consisting primarily of compositions written by Dekel Bor, the trio's original repetoire is open to constant expansion and revision through the evolution of its musicianship. Each member contributes an integral element to the ever-changing and forward moving arrangements.

Dekel Bor is a 24 year-old Guitarist-composer from Israel. In 2003 Dekel received the prestigious “Young Beacons In Jazz” award. He performed in major festivals with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra as well as with jazz legend Reggie Workman. Dekel endorses American-Archtop Guitars,Mesa Boogie and Acoustic Image Amps,Bag-End Speakers and Thomastk-Infeld Strings.

Bassist Francois Moutin is one of the biggest stars of the international jazz scene. Currently leads the Moutin Reunion Band.

Drummer Nadav Snir-Zelniker has performed with such musical giants as Jon Faddis, Dr. Todd Coolman,Arthur Lipner and the David Parsons Dance Company
