Six-time Grammy winner Samara Joy, who last performed at PIJF in 2022, is celebrated for her rich, velvety voice and remarkable phrasing. At just 26 years old, she has a strong connection with the Great American Songbook while bringing a fresh perspective to the music. Her impeccable artistry has captivated audiences at festivals and venues around the globe, establishing her as one of today’s leading voices in jazz. Following the concert, foodies and jazz enthusiasts unite at the festival’s annual Taste of Jazz/ Taste of Pittsburgh Party held at AWAACC at 9:00 pm.
