New Village Management Deepens European Presence with Mike Bindraban Joining Management Team April 16, 2026 New Village Management Announces Mike Bindraban as Artist Manager Europe-based artist manager and cultural leader joins the New Village Management team NEW YORK / ROTTERDAM — New Village Management (NV) announces the appointment of Mike Bindraban LL.M as Artist Manager, effective April 2026. Based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Bindraban brings to NV an exceptional breadth of experience across artist management, agency leadership, cultural policy and international human rights law, with deep roots in the European music landscape. In his role at NV, Bindraban will work across the company’s full roster, with particular focus on European operations, international touring strategy, legal affairs, and long-term artist development. His appointment reflects NV’s continued commitment to expanding its capacity to serve artists operating at the highest level across global markets. Bindraban was the founder of Good Music Company, the international music agency he led for more than fourteen years. Under his direction, the agency represented a distinguished roster of internationally acclaimed artists including Snarky Puppy, Makaya McCraven, Nate Smith, Jeff Parker, Mark Guiliana, Avishai Cohen, Cory Henry, Shai Maestro, and Cory Wong with a strong focus on European and worldwide touring, large-scale orchestral projects, and cross-genre programming. Alongside his agency work, Bindraban served in curatorial, programming and artistic leadership roles for institutions including North Sea Jazz Festival, Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Mondriaan Jazz Festival, consistently championing artistic excellence, innovation, and audience diversification. Earlier in his career, Bindraban was an active performing artist and composer. In 2010, he received an Edison Award nomination, the Dutch equivalent of the Grammy, for Mozaic, an album he co-wrote and produced with his band The Mirror Conspiracy. Bindraban holds a Law degree with two Master’s degrees in International Human Rights Law and Criminal Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, as well as a postgraduate certificate in Business Administration for Legal Professionals from Nyenrode Business University. Over the past decades he has also worked as an attorney-at-law, PhD researcher, senior lecturer, managing consultant, and strategic advisor, engaging with parliamentary, governmental, and cultural-policy institutions on constitutional reform, colonial history, social justice, and human rights. He currently serves on the Supervisory Boards of the National Museum for World Cultures (Wereldmuseum) and Rotterdam Festivals, and advises the Dutch Performing Arts Fund. “Mike brings a rare combination of deep artistic sensibility, international infrastructure, and legal and strategic acuity that is genuinely singular in this field.
