This series isn’t just about music; it’s about the rhythm of ideas that move society forward.”

Secretary Johnson said, "I have been a supporter and listener of WBGO for over 30 years, even during my years in Washington. In my post-government life, I now enjoy donating my time to share with the WBGO audience my favorite classic R&B hits on my new show All Things Soul, once a month on Saturday mornings. I also include on my show interviews with many fascinating people I have met in public life. I am pleased WBGO is now preserving those interviews by converting them to podcasts.”

Williams added, “We are exceptionally fortunate to have someone as distinguished and universally respected as Jeh Johnson contributing to the fulfillment of our mission to entertain and inform our constituents.”

A former member of WBGO’s Board of Trustees, Johnson joined the station in 2022 as host of All Things Soul, part of the station’s Rhythm and Song Weekend programming lineup, which also includes the highly popular program Rhythm Revue with Felix Hernandez.
