Composers Concordance presents a high-voltage electric guitar showdown at Harlem’s Shrine on Oct. 19. On Sunday, Oct. 19 at 7pm, Composers Concordance’s Timbre Tantrum series rocks Harlem’s Shrine with My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama Trio. Featuring Jane Getter, Bruce Arnold, and Gene Pritsker on guitars, with Moppa Elliott (bass) and David Cossin (drums), the program premieres works by Pritsker, Getter, Ann Warren, and Mark Kostabi, plus the trio’s signature Zappa-inspired Variations on My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama. |
