Alex Kautz Quartet Late Set at Dizzy’s April 3-4-5 11PM

"The drummer drives and unifies,
drummer Alex Kautz ties his native
Brazil's breezy if sometimes wistful
sensibility to contemporary, light-
gaughet compositionally based
fusion".
Downbeat magazine

"It makes the heart swing".
All about Jazz

“Anked on one side by São Paulo and
the other by New York City. Like waves
washing ashore on both sides of a
peninsula, they set their influence in
place without ever letting one place
drown out the other”.
