Mark O'Leary Group A Simple Question A Simple Question, a new paradigm, more challenging compositions; harmonically, metrically, riffs, patterns, segues, leitmotifs, Marc Johnson came into do the double bass parts and Bill Stewart, fresh from being the drummer of the zeitgeist agreed to play drums. Marc was sedulous and Bill engaged with the material in vicarious fashion, both deserve immense appreciation for performing eloquently, elegantly and energetically with the compositions in a pragmatic, positive and pellucid manner. Again, post production and a prehensile grasp intuitively of what was necessitated to bequeath upon this recording what would be required to make it a decent album. |
