Mark Cameron Blues Band Coming South to Tour Florida Early January - Booking Opportunities Available Mark Cameron has been actively performing for over 30 years and has established a strong presence in Minnesota's blues scene, frequently appearing at clubs, festivals, and events across the Midwest. The Mark Cameron Band has reached notable milestones, including winning the "Road to Memphis" Challenge in 2017 and releasing a string of critically acclaimed albums. Their 2019 release, On a Roll, soared to number 5 on the Roots Music Report Contemporary Blues Album chart and dominated as the top album in Minnesota for an impressive 18 weeks. It was also honored as the "Best Independently Produced Album" by the Minnesota Blues Society, receiving widespread acclaim from the global blues community. In 2023, Cameron introduced his eighth studio album, Nasty Business, marking his debut with Blue Heart Records. The album takes listeners on a captivating journey through a variety of styles and moods, blending funky grooves with an air of mystery, all delivered with the energy and authenticity fans have come to expect. Fresh from their appearance at Blind Raccoon's International Blues Challenge Showcase in Memphis, the band will be heading south to bring their vibrant performances to Florida's stages. With bookings at some of the state’s top venues and more dates in the works, they’re set to showcase their decades of experience honed in clubs, concerts, and festivals. After their Florida tour, they’ll route through Atlanta as they return north, spreading their signature high-energy blues along the way.
